The grounds and driveway looked completely uncared for, and the old building felt creepy and badly run-down. Inside the room, only one bulb in the ceiling fixture worked, the ceiling fan was turning the wrong way, and there was no air conditioning even though it was 34 degrees. The previous guests' empty shampoo bottles were still in the bathroom, and their excrement was still stuck in the toilet. The hotel lady said a toilet brush was too unhygienic and that no hotel around there had one. Later that evening she had to clean the toilet herself, while an employee reversed the fan and brought in another fan. Horrible. I've never seen a place so neglected. A disaster of a hotel, definitely not recommended.

The patio was badly neglected, and the place was dirty, with cobwebs on the windows and napkins and rubbish left on the floor. The waiters didn't even smile. Service was painfully slow. We were given one dusty menu to share, and when we asked for wine, the waiter had to bring three bottles for us to pick from because there was no wine list. The first course was ham and cheese, but the ham was cut extremely thick. The food looked nicely presented, though the menu was very limited and many things weren't available. The duck croquettes were burnt black, and I couldn't tell where the duck was. I'M NEVER GOING BACK.

The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, and the staff were attentive and really friendly. It's a charming place in an ideal location, and wonderfully peaceful and relaxing.

We had a really enjoyable meal at the restaurant. The €15 set menu was tasty, appetizing, and well cooked, and the welcome and service were friendly. I can't comment on the hotel itself.
