The house itself is lovely and seems to have a lot of potential, but the cleaning was appalling. We stayed from April 15th to 18th as six adults and four children, and we were all disappointed. There were clipped fingernails in one bedroom, which we assume were left by the previous guests, and clearly used toothpicks on another bedroom's headboard. Those are just two examples. We only stay in rural places occasionally, and after this experience we definitely won't come back.

Right in the center of the cozy town of Benimeli, this old house is really well kept and has everything needed for a lovely few days. The pool is small but charming, with salt water, and there's a jacuzzi on the first-floor terrace. The terrace views are spectacular, and the large patio has room for a barbecue.

There are hiking trails starting right at the house, which is great for relaxing and getting out into the Sierra de Alicante. It's in a small village of 400 inhabitants, with facilities nearby and good connections, and Denia is just a few kilometers away. The country house is tastefully decorated and has everything: spacious rooms, a large kitchen, living rooms with fireplaces, patios and terraces, plus a swimming pool, jacuzzi and barbecue.

The owners were so attentive and charming. It's a beautiful house with loads of personality, and a lovely place to switch off and relax. I recommend it 100%.

The house is very well equipped, and the mountain is right next door. It's also well located for visiting lots of small towns. We were there in April, so we didn't use the pool, but we did use the jacuzzi. Perfect.
