Fonda Maria

I booked a last-minute trip when it was hard to find somewhere to stay, and I’m so glad I found this place. The host was kind and helpful, and the room, though small, was beautifully decorated. Little touches like flowers, a free bottle of water, and coffee and tea made a real difference. There’s also a small fridge, plenty of wardrobe space, a huge comfortable bed, and a very clean bathroom. It’s right in central Benissa, within walking distance of restaurants, and a great base for exploring Costa Blanca. Highly recommend!

For the price, this is a really good place. We stayed one night and wanted to add two more, but couldn’t cancel our room in Alicante. We’ll come back another time and would recommend this hostel to anyone after comfort rather than luxury.

A clean, welcoming hostel with a lovely look inside. It can get a little noisy, so earplugs might help. Caveman is a delight and will go out of his way to help. Recommend.

A fairly small hostel with a quite nice interior. The bathroom was the one drawback, as it needed constant airing to clear a bad sewage smell.
