The lobby and coffee/breakfast area felt cosy, and the staff were welcoming. My room was clean, but there was an unpleasant sewage smell. It faced the main street, so it got very noisy, especially with the window open. The central heating was on and I couldn’t control it.

We only stayed one night. The staff were great, parking was easy, and dinner was good. But there’s no air conditioning, and the rooms are small and really noisy. Ours faced a busy road, and at night we could hear everything inside too, from toilets flushing to doors opening and taps running.

The receptionist was the highlight. He suggested some amazing nearby places to see, so a huge thanks to him! This is a cute little hotel close to the centre of Berga, and the price and room were good. Breakfast was the one letdown, with no hot food like eggs or anything meat-like.

There are lots of nice walking paths nearby, plenty of excellent restaurants in town, Lidl is close, and the motorway is nearby too. Don’t forget sunscreen! I’d love to come back next year. The bar is nice, and breakfast has a good variety with good coffee and tea. The room was clean and cosy, with large windows, a good bathtub and shower, and music in the room. Staff were always kind and speak English and French. The Wi-Fi was very weak and often unusable, the walls are thin, and the parking space isn’t shaded. There’s no laundry service, but one nearby costs 6.50. There’s an elevator inside.
