Horrible hygiene. The toilet had clearly been used and left unflushed, so it hadn't been cleaned before the next guest arrived. Terrible.

The room didn't look like the photos, and I had to lug my suitcase up two flights because there was no elevator. The accommodation was filthy, especially the bathrooms. It felt like a dump, not even fit to be called a guesthouse. It's owned or managed by the Hotel Los Olivos across the street, where the reception staff seemed untrained.

The hot water came plentifully from the shower, and there was an extra bedspread in the wardrobe, though I missed having a blanket. My second-floor room had just the basics: a bed, small wardrobe, chair, bathroom, and shower, and there was no elevator. I found it a little expensive for a guesthouse. Reception is shared with the hotel across the street, and the website photos are identical.

The room was clean, the linens were fine, and parking across the street was easy. For €30 a night, the double room with its double bed, small functional TV with an HDMI port, little bathroom and basic shower, small wardrobe, bedside table, lamp, and heating was acceptable. There was no hairdryer, though, and the water kept shifting between hot and cold. The reception is at Hotel Los Olivos, right across the street. What made it unacceptable was the unbearable musty smell, which meant we had to air the room out for almost half an hour.
