Check the exact address before setting off by bus. The hotel is right in front of the bus station, which is handy, but when I booked at the last minute I opened the Booking.com location link in Google Maps. It pinned a different nearby street with the same name, and we spent an hour walking to the hotel. Make sure you verify the pin. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, with very friendly, welcoming staff and good value pricing. We loved the very old building, which made it feel like living in ancient times, all calm and quiet. Its location is perfect for enjoying the surrounding nature, and we’d definitely stay again.

Room 22 was lovely to sleep in, with a super comfortable bed, and I appreciated getting two towels per guest. The only drawback was hearing traffic when the window was open. The house is beautiful, clean and smells amazing, with a really cosy porch where all you hear is cows and sheep. Ainhoa was an excellent host and suggested some interesting places. Breakfast is available at the farmhouse from 8 am for €8. It’s very close to Bermeo, and I’d come back.

The beds were wonderful for a good rest, and there’s a lovely area to relax. Inside, everything is wood, it’s clean and smells of incense. The place is beautiful and welcoming, with excellent service from the staff. It’s very close to Bermeo and San Juan de Gaztelugatxe for sightseeing. Highly recommended!

A quiet spot near Bermeo, well placed for exploring the Basque coast. The rooms are small, but incredibly comfortable and beautifully decorated. Everything is kept meticulously, and the country house has real charm. Breakfast was delicious and included, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
