The best part was leaving. The staff were rude and completely unfriendly, and the house rules felt like military barracks rules, with everything laminated. We weren’t allowed to choose the temperature; it had to stay at 21°C day and night, because, as they put it, “you can’t touch it, it regulates itself.” It’s ridiculous that tenants can’t decide whether they want to roast. Opening the windows is also forbidden, apparently so you don’t ruin the magic of the place. The layout is outrageous for a group of people who don’t even know each other: one room is a passageway to another, and the doors don’t lock. The stairs are dangerous too. Between the first and second floors, there isn’t even room to fit your foot on the steps, and anyone over 1.50 meters tall will hit their head on the ceiling. It’s made for tiny Lilliputians. There’s no parking at all, even though the listing says so. Lose a key and it costs €70, not €3 at a hardware store. Must be keys to Saint Peter. The beds creak so much that turning over feels like being in the middle of a bacchanal. They also make a point of saying you have to take out your own trash, the house won’t do it. Biescas is beautiful, but this house ruined the experience.
