There’s a large free parking area behind the hotel, plus free street parking nearby, and the price was good. It’s right in the center of Biescas, close to bars and restaurants. My room was tiny but worked fine, though having the switches and outlet in the middle of the headboard was strange, and the toilet space beside the shower was tight. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. With my knee pain making walking difficult, the convenient lift was a real help. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was decent.

A lovely old-fashioned hotel in Biescas, modest but charming. Don’t let the one star put you off. The receptionist was extremely friendly, and my basic room did what I needed. WiFi and parking were free. For dinner, Taberna Forato is across the road, or Gouda, a gastronomic-style pub, is across the river down a side street off the main square.
