There wasn't much to like beyond being relatively close to the Guggenheim. Getting to the property at night was confusing, with steep roads and hills, and felt unsafe. It wouldn't suit someone with bad knees. Inside, bright signs by the window made sleeping almost impossible, and cars and motorbikes kept making noise. The TV remote only worked when I stood very close. On arrival the room stank of smoke, flies were buzzing around, and several dead ones lay on the windowsill. It looked like someone had smoked by the open window, and cleanliness didn't seem to be a priority. A truly miserable night. I'd tell people to book somewhere else and spare themselves the regret.

The front desk staff were really good and friendly, and there's parking in the building. The room and bathroom looked recently refurbished and were very well kept. It's right across the river from the Guggenheim, just over the bridge, so getting there is easy. Very, very good, and I'd highly recommend this hotel.

The beds were just right, and the surroundings and bathroom were clean. At reception, they were always willing to help. A very nice pension.

We chose this hotel because we needed parking to keep things in our car safe. I emailed to reserve a space as requested, but only learned on arrival that none were available. That wasn't professional, and I can't recommend the place. It also gets really hot inside, and there's no air conditioning. Run!
