We had a great stay at this boutique hotel. It's a good choice for couples or anyone spending a couple of days in Bilbao. The rooms are great, there's a good gym, and breakfast is served at the restaurant next door. Lots of amenities, and you can walk to just about anywhere you'd want to visit from this central spot. We'll definitely come back.

The only real snag was the parking area, which is very tight and a bit tricky to use. Everything else made for an outstanding stay at the Tayko Hotel. We got two welcome drinks and a complimentary upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The hotel is modern, stylish, and comfortable, and the service stayed friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. We'd gladly recommend Tayko Hotel and stay again.

The room felt new, was clean and spacious, and everything in it was great value. The location worked well, between the old and new town. I was spending my birthday in Bilbao, and the hotel even gave me a small birthday gift. The reception team were welcoming. Loved it.

A lovely modern hotel, with friendly staff and thoughtful details. When we visited, there was a welcome drink and chocolates in the room. Breakfast is why I'd give it four stars. It's advertised as connected to a Michelin-starred restaurant, so we expected something more. It was fine, but nothing special. Each item was just OK, and together the meal didn't live up to the expectation. The main dishes were fine, the bizcocho was good, but the muffin wasn't fresh and the orange juice didn't taste very fresh either.

We could walk everywhere from this excellent location. The Guggenheim was our furthest walk, about 25 minutes. The rooms were spotless and staff were helpful. The hotel was clean and efficient, with good toiletries and a quiet enough bedroom. The bathroom wasn't as soundproof, so remember to shut its door before going to sleep. Construction nearby made for a less relaxing morning, but at least they waited until 9am to start.
