MasQi, The Energy House

I went to MasQi for a short break and found the stay peaceful, just what I needed to reconnect with myself. The daily meditation and yoga schedule, with treatments booked across the day, left a nice balance of time on our own. The food was amazing, and I looked forward to seeing what each day's dishes would be. My room was clean and comfortable, though random creaking, possibly from outside or the old farmhouse, distracted me when I was trying to sleep. The wasps around the garden were the main downside, especially when I wanted to eat or read outside. I'm not a fan of bugs, but the pool was a comfortable spot away from them. The staff were accommodating and made the retreat relaxing. I'd definitely come back in the future.

The house and its setting are beautiful, and the lovely staff put a lot of effort into the all-vegan food. They accommodated my dietary needs, but there's no choice of meals and little flexibility around meal times. The bathroom was always cold because it had no radiator, so I couldn't warm my towel, and the shower water occasionally ran cold. You need some Spanish to get the most out of MasQi. Yoga classes can be held in English, but the therapists only speak Spanish.

The food and massage were wonderful, and the staff were so helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. They couldn't do enough for us. MasQi is possibly one of the most beautiful and amazing places I've ever been. I'm a yoga novice, but found it very enlightening. Just fantastic, thank you.

We enjoyed full board, with three beautiful meals a day, and the massages, sound bath, and singing Bowls treatments were amazing. We've already booked a longer stay. Even before arriving, the emails, welcome video, and personal call to confirm treatments and offer suggestions made it clear this would be special. From reception onward, the welcome was friendly and relaxed, and it was easy to start unwinding. The staff are professional, clearly enjoy working there, and chat freely with guests while doing all they can to make the stay enjoyable. A beautiful, serene place to relax and re-energise. A huge well done to Sonia and the team at MasQi. We'll see you again soon.
