The rooms are cozy and modern, and the place itself is quiet and lovely, but noise from neighboring rooms carries through clearly. We could hear them as if they were in our room, which spoiled some of the peaceful feel. It didn’t seem like a four-star hotel in terms of service: there’s no restaurant, very little food available, and almost no front desk help. One person is there only a few hours a day and wasn’t especially helpful. It feels more like a small rural inn with just a few rooms.

A great spot for switching off at night after a day in the heart of Gredos. In the morning, the views take in lakes, glacial cirques, gorges, and crags shaped by erosion over different ice ages. The rooms have hydromassage and beautiful views, and are set up for enjoying food and nice trekking routes. A remarkable place for a special weekend.

The room was a 7/10, mainly because it didn’t block indoor noise well. We could hear showers and the TV from the next room. Food gets an 8/10, while the service and location were both 10/10. Cozy place with excellent service, and especially good in winter.

The hosts made us feel even more at home than we do at home, and the hotel itself is on another level. The location feels unique, the breakfast was spectacular, especially the lemon chia cake, and the brand-new rooms have been thought through down to the smallest detail. Everything was incredible, hard to put into words, and we can’t wait to return.
