The local bakery, bar, and chocolate shop were all great and just a short walk away. Can Tallada is also handy for outings, with Girona about 15 minutes by train and the beach roughly 30 minutes by car. At the house, we had everything we needed and found it comfortable and easy to settle in. We spent our time relaxing by the pool, cooking together, and taking quiet walks in the countryside. The house is charming and really spacious.
We loved having a cinema room, and the big kitchen made it easy to hang out and cook with a large group. There are plenty of sleeping options and bathrooms, plus a lovely pool and a covered outdoor area for relaxing. As a South African, I especially appreciated being able to braai, even when the weather was cold. The place is spacious and peaceful, just outside town but easy to get into Girona. It really captures the feel of the area. I hope to come back with my kids.
The little bakery, bar for after dinner drinks, and lovely chocolate shop were right nearby, with delicious desserts and homemade chocolates. We also liked how easy it was to get out for day trips: the beach was about a 30-minute drive, and we went into Girona several times, by car and by train. The station was an easy walk or a 10-minute drive from the accommodation. Back at the villa, we relaxed by the pool, watched films, cooked in the well-equipped kitchen, and walked in the peaceful countryside. We were six friends on a girls’ trip and loved the character of the building and all the space, especially in the kitchen. We can’t wait to come back, and we’re already planning a bigger stay with our families.
The village around Flateli Can Tallada was quiet and peaceful, great for walks, and the bakery nearby made it easy to get fresh bread each morning. Girona is close, too. It was my first time there, and I stayed with six friends. We had breakfast by the pool a few times and enjoyed cooking together in the large, well-equipped kitchen. The main house has loads of room to relax and spend time together, and its character made the stay feel special. I’d love to return.
Birdsong in the morning was lovely, it’s a really special place. The villa is clean, spacious, and full of character, with big shared areas and a huge kitchen. There’s a fantastic chocolate shop in the village that’s a must. Girona is around 15 minutes away by car, and the nearby train station is an easy walk. I’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at Flateli Can Tallada.
