The owner was really helpful, and the rooms looked lovely. My husband and I had a great stay at this family-run hotel. Breakfast came with the room and was delicious each day. Definitely try the cafe con leche, it was the best latte I had on vacation. Brush up on your Spanish 😊.

Cal Barber is in a peaceful little village near the mountains, with the beaches only about 15 minutes away. We stayed four nights and found it a lovely spot for relaxing and exploring nearby. The family running it were so warm and helpful, they made us feel at home. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a large, comfortable bed; the bathroom was roomy too, with either a shower or jacuzzi bath. Breakfast had charcuterie, cheese, tortilla, bread with tomato, pastries, and fresh fruit. We also ate at the hotel restaurant, where the food was excellent in both quality and presentation, and seemed very fairly priced to me. The private spa for couples looked lovely, though we didn't try it this time. The service was perfect, and we'll definitely be back. Thank you, Angels, Salvador & Raquel, for making the stay so memorable. See you soon.

We spent 14 days driving along the beaches in northeast Spain and stopped here for three nights. The family who run the hotel were incredibly friendly and helped us with everything. The food was excellent, the service spot on, and the view from the Terrasse was beautiful. It's so peaceful here, we'll miss it. Thank you.

The staff were friendly and efficient, and breakfast was excellent. This is a nice hotel in a tiny village, and a great base for visiting the "Priorat" wineries.
