The views made the tricky drive up completely worth it. My friend and I only stayed one night, but we felt at home, and they were so kind and happy to help with everything we asked for.

The place is wonderfully quiet and rural, with spectacular views and two adorable kittens to keep me company. I was the only guest for my two days there, and Rita and Roberto were lovely. After I arrived by bike, still alive but stunned by the hills, Roberto even drove me to the start of the senda del arrondas/lago ubales? (something like that). The weather was bad, but coming back to be included in dinner plans with their friend made the day better. It’s great for walking in the park, while still not too far from the city. Thanks, guys!

I loved the atmosphere in the shared dorm. It was comfortable and respectful, and the common areas made it easy to meet other travelers, which was especially nice as I was traveling solo. The staff welcomed me warmly, and the whole team helped me feel at home. Their tips about places to visit were invaluable during my two days there. Les Xendes is in a great spot for a weekend, with spectacular hiking trails and beautiful landscapes close by. The breakfasts were generous and delicious, with local products that gave me plenty of energy for each day. Everything was well maintained, and the care in the details showed. I had a fantastic weekend and would happily come back for longer. Highly recommend it for an authentic, memorable getaway. Thanks for everything!

The paths from Les Xendes lead through a beautiful beech forest to the Arrudos Gorge and other wonderful routes. It’s in the heart of Sobrescobio, with big windows looking out over the Casín countryside, and the hostel itself is peaceful. Roberto is an excellent host and a good cook, and his hiking suggestions were helpful. I’m very grateful for everything, Roberto. It’s a place I’d happily return to again and again.
