Mamen looked after us so attentively and made sure we had all we needed. The house itself was wonderful. We stay in rural houses quite often, and this one stands out as the best we’ve found.

The owner was an absolute charmer, and the location was perfect. We’d happily come back. Inside, the spacious, comfortable living room feels like a little museum, with a spectacular fireplace. The patio is lovely too, with a good-sized barbecue. There’s plenty of room in the kitchen, and even chilled pitchers of drinks waiting in the freezer. The layout works really well, with a bathroom for every two bedrooms. They’d also left traditional sweets for us and treats for our dog. It has everything you could need, and it’s one of the best rural houses around.
