We loved the view of Tenerife and Teide from our apartment balcony, and the breakfast had a good selection with fresh, warm bread. Parking was easy to find on the grounds or on the street, and it was all free. Danish Bravo Tours has an office at the hotel. A few things in the apartment weren’t working, but they fixed them as soon as we mentioned it. The handyman was so nice that we made a new friend. The reception ladies were kind and helpful with local tips, and patiently let us practice our Spanish, which we really appreciated. Restaurants, a bus stop, a supermarket with decent prices, a hairdresser and a laundromat are all a short walk away. It’s about an hour’s very pretty walk to Santa Cruz. Planes pass overhead and make a little noise a few times a day, but not very early or late, and it never bothered us. It was actually fun seeing them so close. We stayed for two weeks and had a great time.

We’ve stopped here a couple of times and enjoyed it each visit. The rooms could use a refresh, but they’re otherwise clean and comfortable. On our recent break in Los Cancajos, we weren’t staying here but dropped into the busy bar a few times. Big thanks to Juan and Teresa for keeping everyone’s drinks coming. Until next time.

This is not a 4-star hotel. I’ve stayed in motels that were better. The rooms and towels are really run down, and the sofa was so disgusting we didn’t sit on it. The pool was okay, but there were no pool towels left. The elevator was broken all four days we were there, and nobody was working on it. Even the room key was dirty. People were pleading at reception for a different room, but staff said there weren’t any left. Don’t go.

The good thing is that it’s close to restaurants and a grocery store. The room was clean when we arrived, apart from toilet paper left unflushed in the toilet. The AC didn’t work until Tuesday, even though we’d arrived on Friday. They gave us a fan in the meantime. I wonder why it wasn’t fixed before we got there; I think the previous guest knew about it. There are lots of stairs up and down, so it’s not suitable if you have bad knees.

A nice apartment hotel with a lovely reception area and staff. The apartments are in separate blocks, and the rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. There’s a bar/cafe, a pool, and a restaurant serving breakfast and evening meals if you want them. It’s a four-minute drive from the airport.
