We arrived during a heat wave, and the air conditioning was already running in the rooms. The house is lovely, and the rooms are comfortable.

Carmen was a wonderful host and so kind. A group of friends and I spent a weekend here, and the house had everything we needed for a great stay. We’ll definitely return. Thanks so much, Carmen!

The rooms were clean, there was air conditioning, and each couple had a private bathroom. Our group of friends rented the whole house for an event in Brihuega, and it had everything we needed for a lovely weekend. The host was incredibly helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay. I’d definitely book here again and highly recommend it.

The village and the surrounding area are beautiful, so we’ll certainly return to the area. We won’t stay at this house again, though, and I can’t recommend it. Our group of friends spent the weekend there, and the price felt far too high for what was provided. The heating worked very poorly. The two largest radiators in the upstairs common area couldn’t be used, and the radiators in the bedrooms on that floor stayed cold no matter how high we set the thermostat. The bathroom radiators were cold too. The dishwasher didn’t work, there was rubbish in the bin, and the outdoor area within the property was neglected. In the bathrooms, the ceilings were peeling, the soap bars were nearly empty, and the shower mats were worn out. The sink had old, dirty scouring pads and dishcloths. We paid for the whole house, but some rooms were locked when we arrived because there were fewer of us than the full capacity. The price was still the same. The owners seemed interested only in getting paid, in cash, and wouldn’t accept or tolerate criticism. They also passed the buck when problems came up. They entered the house while we were out: we went for coffee at four, before the five o’clock key return, and they went in during that time. When we complained, the woman said she’d give us jars of honey, but she didn’t. In the end she gave us a €100 discount for all of this, very reluctantly. One positive is that they allow pets, though we didn’t bring any.
