Parking right outside was a real plus, and the village is only a pleasant seven-minute uphill walk away. We found the room bright, clean and cozy, with a very comfortable bed and a good shower. Our hostess made us feel so welcome and was attentive throughout. Breakfast was excellent, and her Rioja was so good we tried it again once we got home. The price is very reasonable, and we'd happily come back. Thank you!

A beautiful property in a lovely, quiet little town, with welcoming owners. It’s also a handy base for getting to the places you’ll want to see around Rioja. If you’re after somewhere quaint and charming in the region, I’d highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely few days in La Rioja with this as our base. MariCruz and her husband were so warm and friendly, and our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was nice, and the place felt very safe regarding COVID.

A quiet, cool place to stay, and one of the wine tasting spots is just three minutes away. It’s also about 15 minutes from the heart of "la rioja". Briones isn’t the place for nightlife, and it can certainly get overcrowded in high season. November is a great time to visit. Strongly recommend it.
