The river is close enough that you can hear it while sleeping, which is lovely. The hotel sits in a nice spot in Broto near shops and cafes, and the rooms are attractive for a reasonable price. Breakfast costs extra and starts at 8.30 am, which feels late if you're hiking. The staff speak only Spanish, and there's no tea or coffee setup in the room. Parking can be tricky because there aren't enough spaces for all the rooms, so be ready to grab one when it opens up.

The location is good, and the stay was quite acceptable overall. Rooms were clean and nice, though the bathroom felt cramped. With no air conditioning, the waterfall beside the hotel can be heard all night. Breakfast was very limited, just white bread and cheap jam. The owner and staff don't speak English, so be ready to use your Spanish.
