The price was a little higher for our visit because it was a special weekend, but it was still great. We came for Andalusia Day and would happily return. The apartment was spotless, had everything we needed, and opened onto a lovely terrace with breathtaking mountain views. The owner who took care of us was delightful, kind, and very welcoming. We were looked after so well.

We came to get away from the heat, and the mountains were wonderful for that. It was so cool at night that we used both a sheet and a duvet. The river is close by, with pools and little waterfalls that are great for swimming, and the area is hard to beat. Our apartment was comfortable, clean, tidy, and cozy, with fantastic views in a very peaceful setting. The owners were lovely and attentive, and gave us cherries from their orchard when we left. We brought our dog, and you need to let them know ahead of time so they can prepare one of the rooms designated for dogs. Everything went smoothly, and it was a fantastic stay. We’ll definitely come back.

Tinaos is a really pretty town, though the sights are more spread out than in places like Capileira and Pampaneira. The price was affordable, and I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. Just be careful driving downhill, since the road has a steep slope and lots of curves.
