The village is calm and laid-back, and Masca and Santiago del Teide are still fairly close, with buses available, though they don't come often. The house is charming, relaxing, and quite well equipped, making it a good base for exploring or just enjoying the area. Going farther afield can be inconvenient, as the roads are narrow and sometimes busy.

The peaceful surroundings and the many beautiful hiking trails nearby, or just a short drive away, were a highlight for me. The views along the steep but simple path up and down are breathtaking, and everything is arranged for easy access. The cozy house has a rustic exterior but every comfort inside, and we lacked nothing. It's one of the best rural stays we've had, thanks to the atmosphere, comfort, cleanliness, the establishment's rules, and the excellent service. I loved how much it offered and how quiet the area was.

If you're looking to disconnect, this is the place, tucked into the heart of Teno Rural Park and ideal for getting away from the city. Bring what you need from home, since there's no supermarket nearby, and take care on the roads. The nights are wonderful, with La Gomera's lights visible across the sky, plus the sea of clouds, haze, and pure nature. Insect repellent is a good idea given all the nature around.

We felt at home here. The house and its surroundings were peaceful, with sea views and sunsets over La Gomera. It's 100% recommended for switching off and enjoying nature and the scenery. If you don't want to disconnect completely, the Wi-Fi works perfectly 😉
