We had no booking and arrived with our children and a baby close to midnight on December 31st, in a really desperate situation. Even on a holiday, they took us in so kindly, giving us food, warmth, and somewhere safe to stay. Their generosity meant we could finish the year safely. This hostel has real heart. Thank you so much.

Dinner for the two of us was good value, and the dishes were nicely presented with fresh, good-quality ingredients. The rooms were clean and roomy too, and the bar and restaurant were good.

On a Monday during a leg of the Camino de Santiago, I stopped for breakfast and found they had no bread. I ordered a coffee with milk, but there wasn't even a pastry to go with it. Just the coffee, then. A bakery was only 50 meters away. Really, a hostel, bar, and restaurant with no bread?
