The lounge and bar are spacious, and the staff were helpful. It’s also handy for getting off the motorway, and I used the place as a base for some lovely countryside cycling.

The hotel is practical and its location is spot on. What really made our visit, though, was Antonio Valverde’s help. We’d planned a Bodega visit in Bullas, but our first choice was closed. Antonio knew about the many wineries around town, suggested a great alternative, then even called the owner of Bodega Balcona. It was a busy Saturday with visitors already filling the place, but he persuaded her to let us visit. We had a wonderful time there and found it easily. Many thanks, Antonio. We’d recommend the hotel without hesitation.

We stayed one night on October 11 and paid the hotel directly for two rooms with breakfast included. At checkout, an angry older man at the desk charged us another 35.10 euros for breakfast. The hotel manager later promised by email to refund it, but we still haven’t received anything. We feel cheated by this hotel.

I’ve never stayed overnight, but I’ve stopped in a few times for coffee and toast. The service was friendly, and it’s easy to get to from the motorway.

Lunch was average, but the service was excellent. I’d definitely come back.
