El Caleyon

We came here after hiking up to Pico Urriellu, on the recommendation of Quim, a charming guy who works here. We were worn out from the day's hike, but a friendly man named Alberto gave us such a warm welcome to the cosy accommodation. Our room looked down over Bulnes, with beautiful mountain views all around us. The restaurant food was incredible, and I got to practice my Spanish with “Que Rico!”, “Muy bueno!” and “Delicioso!”. Chef Elena, thanks for cooking such great food. Everyone at El Caleyon treated us like family and made the whole stay a great experience. I can't recommend the place enough. The best part was how kind Alberto, the owner, and Quim, who works at the restaurant, were. We had amazing views and excellent food there too. Our family of four shared a room with a private bathroom for two nights. It was comfortable and extremely clean, with a little window looking out over the valley. It was a pleasure to stay, and we hope we can return someday.

Waking up in quiet Bulnes, surrounded by the mountains, was lovely. The rooms are simple but fairly priced, and the landlady is super friendly. She speaks little or no English, but you can manage, and the food is really good too. A wonderful place to stay.

The mountain view all around the restaurant was spectacular. After a day hiking outdoors, it's a fantastic place to rest and recharge. We stopped in for a drink and something to eat, were greeted warmly, and had good fresh produce. Such a delightful inn and restaurant.
