Abba Burgos Hotel

The breakfasts were a real highlight, with a large salon and plenty of international choices as well as Spanish food. Our twin room at Hotel Abba was spacious, had its own balcony, and the bathroom was lovely. The hotel is part of the university and sits in a magnificent building on the Camino route out of the city. I stayed a few days while walking the Camino de Santiago in September 2025, and had a very positive visit. It was a good choice recommended by my Camino travel partners, @Magichillholidays in Ireland. I'd definitely come back.

We’ve stayed at ABBA Burgos three times now and keep coming back. This time our room looked toward the cathedral, which was stunning at night. The receptionist was so welcoming, and as always, breakfast was delicious and everything was clean. You can walk to the cathedral from this perfectly placed hotel. See you soon, and thanks again for a lovely stay!

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, and breakfast was good. There’s even a wonderfully quiet machine for fresh orange juice. The location is handy, just below the castle and only a few minutes from the cathedral. I’d recommend the room service entrecot.

We really liked the restaurant, the food was good quality and the prices were very reasonable. Breakfast had a good range for different dietary needs, and the indoor pool and gym were fantastic. There’s a great parking area, friendly and helpful staff, and the old town is only about a five minute walk away. The hotel has everything you need and should be five star. Highly recommended.
