Parking was easy, and they accept dogs, which is a real plus. It’s a clean, quiet and affordable place in Burgos, about a 10-minute walk from the Cathedral.

The reception staff were professional and helpful. They gave us a map and several useful suggestions for places to eat and ways to see the best parts of the city. The hotel is on the first floor of a building. It’s very minimal, but clean, functional, and has all the comforts you need. Our room was small, yet still livable for three of us with all our luggage open. The bathroom was tiny too, but had the necessary equipment.

The room was a bad deal, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. There were three beds squeezed into a tiny space, with hardly any room between them. The 1980s TV showed nothing but static, the bathroom was tiny, and it had the smallest tub I’ve ever seen. The Wi-Fi would connect now and then, but dropped as soon as we tried to use the internet. And the elevator felt like a deathtrap. At least it was clean, as other people have said. If you’re a Camino pilgrim, Albergue is cheaper and better.
