Hotel Rural Ardila

Encarna, the manager, is pleasant and helpful, and that’s the one saving grace. The restaurant menu is limited and the place is poorly maintained. The room air conditioning is extremely noisy and makes the rooms freezing cold. Neither the door nor the window closes properly. There’s a lot that could be improved. This isn’t a four-star hotel, not even close.

We loved the friendly welcome, the spotless facilities, and the spectacular, almost magical rural charm. The food was phenomenal, especially the garlic soup and croquettes, which I’d particularly recommend. The bar and dining room service was outstanding, and congratulations to the new management for going above and beyond to make everything impeccable. We’ll definitely be back.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and we felt right at home. The rooms are spacious and clean, making this an ideal place to relax and unwind. I’d also highly recommend the restaurant: the food is delicious and excellent quality. They clearly know how to choose good local produce and cook it well. We’ll definitely be back.

The houses and rooms open straight onto the pool, and Encarna and Ulpiano make you feel right at home. It’s spectacular, like being at home with all the comforts of a hotel. The restaurant meat is amazing. We had a perfectly cooked ribeye and divine gazpacho. Breakfast was a spectacular toast with good olive oil and even better tomato, made with a special recipe. Thanks so much for everything. We’ll definitely be back.
