Hotel AHC Cáceres

We held a two-week training for students from Uzbekistan at the University of Extremadura, and the hotel found places for everyone. The location suited us because we needed to be close to the University. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they tried their best to provide suitable meals while taking our dietary restrictions, including no pork, into account. A very nice hotel with lovely people.

It's about a 20-25 minute walk to the old town, with quite a steep uphill stretch near the end, or you can catch a local bus from the street outside. The parking is really handy and relatively close to the old town. This is a good value hotel with a very large room, a decent shower, and helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast was fine, cheap, and had decent gluten-free choices when requested. I'd definitely stay again.

The location is good, with the old town within a 20-minute walk, and there's free parking for the car. But it was too noisy for us. The door is very thin, so we could hear guests closing doors, talking in the walkway, and coming and going. Everything echoed.

We stayed for work and were pleasantly surprised. Even though it was low cost, the room was comfortable, the location was pretty good, and the staff were very kind.
