The beds were very comfortable, and we really appreciated that dogs are welcome without an extra charge. The building itself is lovely and old, but it feels neglected, and the rooms don't seem well looked after. It needs a lot of care. Breakfast was the worst I've had. The cakes and chocolate items were highly processed and packaged, and the only fruit was mushy. The coffee and hot water machine wasn't working, and with no staff around we had to find a woman to fix it. She did, but then everyone was queuing. I'd skip breakfast, though I wouldn't stay here again. Still, we're grateful they take dogs at no extra cost.

The staff were great and the location is perfect, just off the plaza mayor. Our room faced the front, and from the balcony we could just about see the plaza. It was comfortable, with a large bathroom. Breakfast is available at a reasonable price.

Parking is in a public multi-storey garage, and the hotel itself is above shops in the middle of this UNESCO medieval town, reached on foot. It used to be a traditional Spanish townhouse and has a wonderfully quirky feel, with salons, lace samples, Spanish artefacts, and an amazing granite staircase. From our room we could see the main square and the old town walls. There are plenty of food shops and places to eat nearby, and reception is staffed around the clock. I'd say an evening or daytime guided tour is a must.

The room was really cozy, and the service was great, with nice staff. The location inside the old city is excellent, with lots of charming castles around. A great option for the price!!!
