La Casina de Piedra ENCANTO

A great place to stop for a night and unwind. Check-in was easy, and our host was super helpful with restaurant ideas. Everything is really close to the old town and within walking distance.

The service was great. When the key stopped working on our second day, someone came to sort it out in about 10 minutes. The main downside is the parking: it’s much farther away than described, and the walk is uphill with heavy bags. Also, there’s no washing machine, so a stay longer than four days would mean carrying your wardrobe.

We spent two nights here with four people and had no trouble. The place was clean and quiet, with comfortable beds. It stays cool, and the air conditioning works well if needed. There are two levels connected by a spiral staircase. The kitchen is small but has what you need, and the location is handy, with public parking nearby.

I booked through Booking.com in April for my parents and some friends. My father needed urgent surgery 48 hours before the stay, and since he was the only person who could drive, they couldn't make the trip. The owner wouldn't refund them and offered only a discount on a future booking. Given that this was a medical emergency, not a leisure cancellation, that felt completely unethical. I absolutely don't recommend this service.
