Puerta de la Caleta is a beautiful Ariel right by the beach, at the entrance to the pier leading to the castle. It’s a really nice spot.

The restaurant is just a short walk from Cadiz cathedral. We sat down hoping to have lunch, only to be told it was closed. The tables and chairs were folded up and taken inside. We went for a walk along the pier and fortress, and about half an hour later came back to find everything gone. You wouldn’t have known there’d been a restaurant there, even though people had been eating just half an hour earlier. It was like a movie scene.
