Apartamentos Argantonio

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Argantonio. What impressed me most, though, was the help after checkout. I left a personal item in my room and arranged for UPS to collect it. The staff were incredibly kind and helped organize the pickup. When UPS later lost the package and refused to reimburse me, the hotel went out of its way to sign a waiver letter for my insurance claim. Special thanks to the reception team for helping resolve a problem caused entirely by UPS. Highly recommended!

The location is great for walking around Cadiz centre, and parking is secure and directly across from the hotel. The staff were always smiling and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the room and bathroom were clean and good. It was quiet too. Happy to recommend this charming, atmospheric hotel. I guess its official 2* rating is because it doesn't have a restaurant or swimming pool, but this place deserves 5*.

The old town location was really handy, though there was some noise outside at night from people hanging around nearby. Inside, the decor and atmosphere were lovely, and check-in was quick and easy. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was lovely too, and the stay felt like good value.

The staff were warm and helpful, and the location is excellent. But for what I paid, the room itself was a letdown: the walls are so thin you can hear people in every direction, including their bodily functions. After two nights I also noticed a large stain on the comforter I had been using. It definitely wasn't mine. I booked through booking.com and mistakenly thought €100 covered two nights. It turned out to be the price for one. The hotel proactively messaged me on WhatsApp to ask if I planned to stay another night, which I did, but that night cost €150. That really colored how I felt about the place. The staff were lovely, but I didn't think the overall experience was worth the price.
