Dormir en Cádiz

The host really made the stay. He was super friendly and gave us a personalized, color coded map with his picks for places around town. There was also free cold bottled water and candy by reception. The room was great too, with a little balcony, air conditioning and a comfortable bed.

Pablo and Jaime made beach days so easy. They had towels, cold water, frozen bottles for the heat, a beach chair, umbrella, sunscreen and after-sun ready, so I could just grab my “beach kit” and go. Belen looked after the rooms and greeted me with a smile every day. Even when you don't share a language, her kindness and energy make communicating easy. The room was comfortable and carefully thought out, from the storage to the lighting and layout. Everything was spotless, and the care put into the details really showed. It felt like home. I felt safe, welcomed and looked after thanks to Pablo, who runs the place. He's hardworking, attentive and thoughtful, and his guidance helped me discover something new every day, from local eateries to hidden spots. I got to experience Cádiz like a local, and the food, drinks and atmosphere were unforgettable. Jaime, the hostel owner, was wonderful too. He shared his time, smile, stories and recommendations, which added a lot to my experience. I loved every minute of the stay. The people, atmosphere and comfort were all perfect, and I'll definitely return. My only complaint was having to leave. Thank you for making my time in Cádiz so special. Staying at Dormir en Cádiz was one of my best travel experiences.

What made the stay special was how friendly and helpful they were. I caught a cold in Cadiz, and he insisted on giving me medicine, which helped a lot. He also called a taxi, walked me to the taxi stand and explained how to catch my train for the next leg of the trip. The location is fantastic, with restaurants, coffee shops, bars and sights right nearby. My room was clean and comfortable, with a soft bed and a shower with strong pressure and plenty of hot water. Couldn't have asked for better. Highly, highly recommend.

Jaime was such a warm, friendly host and always tried to help from the heart. His recommendations for places to visit, especially places to eat, were great. The room was cozy and clean, and the shower was amazing. It's in the best part of the old town, close to nice restaurants and the beach. We felt really good staying here and totally recommend it!
