The location was good, and the sir at reception was friendly. Still, we didn't sleep well. Something in the blankets bit us. It wasn't bed bugs, but I had very big red bumps on my forehead and legs from some other kind of bug. During our stay we worried it might actually be bed bugs, and that fear kept us from sleeping.

The hostel's position was definitely very good, and the overall cleanliness was decent. It's a cheap, decent place, but not the best. One big problem: it has NO parking, despite what they said. The staff were standoffish and unpleasant, and nobody there could speak English, French, Italian or German. Our room was tiny, with no window to the outside. There was a window onto the aisle that the waitress always left open. The bathroom was minimal. If you missed the cleaning schedule, you couldn't get fresh towels.

We stayed five nights in this organised, friendly hostel. A quiet street, good double glazing and air con made it fine for us. The washroom was small but newly fitted and clean. Ask for a room with a balcony.

Plain and simple, but clean.

This neat hostel is in the old part of Cadiz, conveniently close to the historic landmarks. Canalejas parking garage is a 5-minute walk away.
