La Cuca Bed & Breakfast

Nothing to complain about. It was my first B&B stay, and I was a little unsure about sharing since I was traveling with my mother. But everything was wonderful: it was clean, nicely decorated, the bathroom was impeccable, the beds were super comfortable, breakfast was always ready, and the patio was spectacular. We hardly ran into the other guests, and when we did, everyone was respectful. Even with shared facilities, people treated the common areas considerately. I'm really grateful. I'd love to come back next summer and do it all again, God willing. Thank you.

The room noise, lack of air conditioning, and poor cleaning were all problems for me. It wasn't cleaned every day, and on Booking.com I couldn't choose a room, though I was apparently told that I had. The listing there also didn't make clear that this was shared accommodation. Google calls it a three-star hotel, and the website does mention sharing, but that should be stated clearly where people book. For €480 for two people for four nights, we got shared accommodation, a shared bathroom, a less-than-great breakfast, and a kitchen described as fully equipped where you can't cook because there's no stovetop. That feels expensive. I've worked in hotels for over 20 years, and I don't think this is a three-star hotel as advertised.

The house was cozy and really clean, the beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. The owners were so charming and kind to us. They even made a generous gesture they didn't have to make, and we're hugely grateful. I won't say what it was, so I don't make things complicated for you, hehe. We'd absolutely recommend staying here and will be back.

My father can't stop talking about how pleased he was with the stay. I booked the apartment for him and my uncle, both elderly, and the owner kindly arranged a room with two separate beds. I haven't met her myself yet, but I'll definitely stay here if I visit Cádiz.
