We couldn’t check in because the owner was nowhere to be found and wouldn’t answer the phone. Booking support eventually got our money back, luckily, but we lost two hours and had to find another hotel. A complete waste of time. Avoid this place, don’t book here.

The location was nice, and the room was clean and basic, but it had no window, so there was no air. It also looked nothing like the room photo on Booking. Such a letdown. If you book, ask specifically for a room with a window, otherwise it can feel like being in prison.

The location was excellent, and the room was very clean and neat. We arranged our arrival and departure ahead of time, and the service was great. There was no window, but the glass door let in plenty of daylight. The air conditioning worked perfectly.

The host communication was a weak point. Check-in wasn’t available until 4 pm, it wasn’t clear where or how to meet, and the man spoke only Spanish while the woman spoke intermediate German. They were slow to answer Booking.com messages and preferred phone calls. Still, it worked out fine for a few nights. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean and modernly furnished, and the balcony and view were great. Right in the city centre, with cafes, restaurants, the Cathedral, and everything else within walking distance.

The views from my room were unbeatable, and everything in the beautiful facilities worked perfectly. We spent the weekend in Cádiz at Mariam House. It was modern and impeccably clean, with a large, very comfortable bed. The staff were excellent. I’ll definitely return. I’d read the other reviews and honestly don’t understand how they could be so different.
