Talayot

The restaurant was the highlight for us. We had half board and never needed to eat out: breakfast had cereals, breads, meats, a full English, fresh omelettes, juices, coffee and tea. At dinner there were salads, fresh fish cooked to order, vegetables, potatoes and chips, with different hot choices each night across our 7 night stay. Beer, wine and soft drinks were self-serve, and restaurant service was friendly and efficient. We also liked the pools. The rear pool is a good size, with a separate Jacuzzi, plenty of sunbeds and a bar for drinks and snacks. There’s a lifeguard. Towels came from reception; we kept the same one, and the hotel information says towel swaps cost €1. Upstairs, the first-floor raised area has a bar and infinity pool, plus evening entertainment a few times a week. Our room was spacious and clean, with tea and coffee facilities, a TV and hairdryer, and our seaview room had a large balcony. The sink is in the bedroom area, which felt unusual but was fine. Staff were friendly everywhere from arrival to departure. Our travel agent recommended Talayot, and we’re glad we went along without doing our own research first. One thing to know: the airport coach drops you on a parallel road two roads away, so you have to walk to the hotel. Small minibuses and taxis can stop closer. We managed in the early afternoon, though other guests said they had to do the walk in the early hours. The return coach picks up from the same spot, and you get a 30 time window by message. We’d recommend Talayot and the local area.

My AirPods Pro were taken from my room. I spoke with reception four times, but management never responded or apologized. The lack of help and accountability left me very disappointed, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The room was clean and pleasant, and the bar was good, with nice cocktails and friendly staff. But the food was awful. We were there for 10 day all inclusive and only went to the restaurant maybe 3 times. Sad, because the rest was good.

The resort is right across from the sea, with beautiful sunrises, shops and places to eat close by. I travelled alone and felt safe and comfortable throughout my fantastic fortnight. Everything went smoothly from the friendly receptionist who welcomed me to the day I left. My room was spacious and clean, and the lovely cleaners changed the bedding and towels every day. I’m a fussy eater, but I was happy with every meal. The chefs were friendly and always up for a chat, and the waiters and waitresses were wonderful. Miriam was probably the happiest person I’ve ever met. The pools were clean and great, with bars stocked with plenty of alcohol and snacks. Enrique, Juan Jose and Gabriel were all amazing. Gabriel made my holiday with his jokes and entertainment. Evening shows were every other night and kept us entertained. I had the best time. Thamkyou xx
