Hotel Mayarv

The mountain and sea views were lovely, and the room was clean, peaceful, and great. The host was such a thoughtful, lovely man. I doubt I'll get another breakfast as good as his on this trip.

The hilltop position means there's a spectacular view from nearly every angle. The hotel is a lovely example of local architecture, and our room was spotless and comfortable. Joaquin was warm, welcoming, thoughtful, and smart, and speaks Spanish, English, and German. He made the stay so pleasant. I loved the breakfast too. Thank you very much, Joaquin :)

We enjoyed the peaceful gardens and terraces, with lovely personal touches throughout. Although Murcia classifies it as one star, it felt like a boutique hotel, or like staying with family. There are only a few rooms, but the grounds are extensive, and the hotel has its own large car park. The bay views and setting are fantastic. The charming owner is welcoming, and there are fascinating historical items on display, including maps and books. Rooms are tasteful and very clean. Breakfast arrived on time, was nicely presented, fresh, and substantial. The beach and local restaurants are a 15-minute walk downhill, with walks by the foothills as well. Highly recommended.

I slept well in a comfortable bed, and the air conditioning was good. It's a very pleasant little hotel, spotlessly clean, with a nice breakfast. Very good stay, and I'll return.
