The proprietor is charming, and his coffee and cocktails are great. He really adds character to the place, which is family friendly too. The whole property feels like stepping into the 1960s, in the best way. The pool is beautiful and pristine, the rooms are comfortable and so quiet, and there's easy access to a wonderful beach.

The owner is older, very welcoming, and helpful if you run into any problems. Hostel Lleida is old, but the rooms were quite clean, and it suited us well since we mainly needed somewhere to sleep and didn't have high expectations for a two-star hostel. It's generally quiet, though the railway is very close and trains pass almost every hour, which could bother anyone sensitive to noise.

Josep, the owner, is so kind and welcoming, always ready to help or spend a little time chatting with guests. The pool is spotless, relaxing, and much larger than the ones at fancier hotels nearby. There's a 1960s bar facing it, with music and drinks. The rooms are typical of a Spanish pensión, but the property has a lot more to offer. Hostal Lleida is a real gem, possibly the best hotel around. I'd happily stay all summer.

It's a quiet community with beach access, and the place is run by a very friendly mom-and-pop team. The train station is only a block or two away, with trains that can take you almost anywhere you want to go. Just be careful with the pass at the Airport, since it covers a very limited area.

The staff were fine and the hostal's service was good. It's about a four-minute walk from the train station and around seven minutes from the beach.
