Stay somewhere else. The apartments were filthy, and all but one member of the reception staff were rude. The place was disgraceful. Our room smelled musty. They said it would be cleaned before new guests arrived, but I find that hard to believe. We had to clean the whole apartment and rewash all the dishes ourselves. Door handles were hanging off, the kettle and phone didn’t work, and the towels were dirty. When we asked for clean ones, we were told to wash them. The curtains and nets were mouldy, and there were mosquitoes everywhere, with blood and marks left from previous guests killing them. We also found ants and cockroaches. The cupboards for clothes were thick with dust. Luckily, easyJet moved us to another hotel. I’d never stay there again even if I were paid.

Apartment 63 had a gorgeous terrace and plenty of room, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big living area. The kitchen was equipped, and there was a fireplace too. The complex is close enough to walk to the street with restaurants.

The apartment was brilliant, almost like a little bungalow with its own garden, and the staff were lovely. The amenities were good too. It's a long way from the bigger resorts, so hiring a car made things much easier, though finding a parking space in the evening was difficult since there were only a handful.

We slept really well on the super comfortable beds during our week here. Our ground-floor, two-bedroom self-catering apartment had a huge patio, and both bedrooms opened onto a little courtyard through patio doors. The location worked well, and the M220 bus to Feungirola stops near Lidl. Turn left as you leave the hotel, follow the road to the bottom, then cross the bridge to the bus stop.

We visited for a few days in the extra season, so the pool and other amenities weren't available for us to enjoy. The apartment itself was spacious, with big rooms and plenty of handy storage, and the prices were good. Late October was a bit chilly, but every room had AC and an electric heater.
