Nuevo Zenit Calahorra

The bedrooms are a little tired, but they do the job. Parking was easy, with plenty of room, and the staff were friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was included for a good price, and reception, food, and drinks were available around the clock.

The pool was the best I've come across so far on my travels, and the place has a relaxed, comfortable feel. Our room was clean, with the TV in a good spot and working a/c. Staff and the manager were friendly and quick to deal with any issues, and the house white wine was delicious. It's a handy place to rest while travelling, with parking nearby and the bar drawing locals and passersby for coffee, drinks, or small bites late at night. We couldn't hear them from our room. Dogs are allowed to stay in the rooms, which I see as a bonus. The restaurant food was okay, but the menus change by time of day and made it hard to order what we wanted. I'd prefer a single menu all day, with healthier options like salads available throughout. I also didn't like having to choose the set menu to get a burger. There were flies around the property, and we had what may have been an electrical issue in our room. The staff sorted out the issues we mentioned quickly. With those improvements, I'd give it five stars. As it was, I'd say 4.5.

There’s loads of parking, and you can get food at pretty much any time. The hotel is right by the main road, so its location is ideal if you're travelling through. It's especially good for dogs: we had a big one and a small one, and for a small extra charge they could stay in our room. The hotel even provided little dog beds. It's hard to find somewhere this dog-friendly.

Finally got the ZUNDER charger working with TESLA, but it cost me 30 minutes.
