We stayed for 5 nights and found the staff polite, but the service overall didn’t meet expectations. For an all-inclusive package, bar service was very limited. The food was good and there was plenty of variety. The room cleaning left a lot to be desired. Towels were never changed and the floor wasn’t cleaned at all during our stay. We had a small child with us and couldn’t find any kids’ activities, not even a simple play area with toys.

What I blame the hotel for is cheating on the alcohol in the all-inclusive drinks. I had 4-5 drinks at the bar and felt nothing. There also seemed to be a kitchen problem during our stay, as many people had health issues. All 4 adults in our group were affected, though luckily our 2 y.o. child avoided it. The hotel is very well placed, and most rooms have a nice sea view. It seemed clean and maintained, but you could smell waste in the bathroom, not just in our room. The area around it is like much of Calas de Mallorca, with lots of trash in the bushes and tourists acting like animals. I’m not blaming the hotel for that. What I didn’t expect was how difficult it was with a small child and stroller. There are so many stairs and no ramp. After a week at Globales America, I expected more from a 4* hotel in Spain/EU, given what it claims. The crew were lovely, friendly people.

The nice sea is public, and there’s trash in the water. The window view depends on the floor. From up high it’s good, but on lower floors you’ll see roofs and walls. Also, the adults’ pool filter was completely overgrown with green algae and wasn’t filtering at all. That’s a serious hygiene issue. The hotel was very disappointing, with old facilities, poor service and extra charges for almost everything. The rooms are old, the TVs outdated, and there’s almost nothing in them. The safe costs €5 a day, uses a key, and changing towels costs €1. Towels are worn and torn, with a €10 deposit. The biggest issue for me was the old magnetic room lock, which kept failing. I lost almost a whole day waiting for it to be fixed. I have knee problems, so going downstairs every time it failed was difficult. It was eventually replaced entirely, which showed the problem was the lock, not the card. The manager’s explanation that the magnetic card had been erased by a phone didn’t fit my situation, as I never kept it near my phone. The food was poor. During inspections everything was laid out for dinner, but on other days many dishes were missing. In response to the manager, I also want to make clear that the main issue remains the same: instead of taking responsibility, the hotel blames guests. I hope future visitors can read my experience and know what to expect.

The location was really nice, with the hotel facing the beach and lovely ocean views. There were kiosks, bars, a shopping center, restaurants and a pharmacy nearby, plus a bus stop that made it easy to visit another city. The animation team were amazing, especially Myline and Thomas. They were friendly with both kids and adults, easy to chat to, and we always looked forward to the next day’s activities with them. We had so much fun and wished we could extend our vacation, but couldn’t. Receptionists were friendly and helpful if we asked something. Other staff mostly worked like robots. Some smiled, most didn’t, and it felt intimidating. The room was very small and not worth what we paid. It wasn’t soundproof, either. On the first floor we could hear chairs from the restaurant downstairs and people talking in the next room really clearly, so there was no privacy. The food was repetitive and not cooked properly. Pasta and rice were hard, and my husband got food poisoning. Someone else we know also had a bad stomach, vomiting and diarrhea. They served tomatoes with mold on them, and we had to ask staff to take them away or they wouldn’t have noticed. Overall, we stayed for 7 days.
