I stopped here during a cycling tour and had no problems at all. They have a large, secure garage for bikes, which was handy. The restaurant serves a wide choice of tasty evening meals, and the connected Spring bar next door has a pool table and drinks and snacks available all day. Breakfast was adequate, with quick, efficient service. The hotel is tucked down a side street off the main road. My room was modern and very spacious, with good facilities and a large bathroom cleaned to a high standard. One room even has a hot tub.

It’s a family run place, and everyone was so friendly that nothing seemed like a problem. They helped us with the restaurant service times, and there was a great menu. The room was spotless. The double glazing kept out all the noise, and the walk-in shower was spacious and delightful. They even had toiletries down to a toothbrush. Breakfast was continental, with coffee, tea, tostada, croissants and Magdalena's. We’ll definitely come back and would recommend it.

Both rooms we booked were clean and modern, one for me and my partner and the other for our two teenage sons. The problem was the air conditioner in the boys’ room wasn’t working, so they struggled to sleep in the heat. We were out for the evening and got back in the early hours, so I didn’t alert the staff then. We tried turning on the air conditioning with the control, but the machine still didn’t work. I mentioned it at the desk when we checked out.

The menu del día is well worth trying. It’s a great family run hotel, with comfortable, spotless rooms and a safe place inside to keep our bicycles. We’d happily stay here again on future trips.

We had lunch there today and it was fantastic. The presentation was at a 5* standard, and our waitress Abbi was a dream, so helpful. It’s a great place to bring visitors, and we’ll definitely be back.
