Breakfast was good, but we can't recommend the standard room. The hotel seems to have a luxurious, posh side and a "barack" side, and that difference wasn't apparent when booking on booking.com. Our room looked straight out of the 60s: the toilet barely flushed, the bidet was rusty, the bed was short and small with springs poking into my back, and the rotten door hardly closed. The rooms are very noisy too. We could hear people on the outside terrace all night. This side of the hotel needs a proper renovation. If you stay here, get a luxury room. It's worth the money.

The hotel has a parking lot for guests, a quiet outdoor pool, and a pleasant terrace shaded by trees. We also liked the large modern dining room with its warm colors and kind staff. My friend and I spent two days at Balneari Prats in Caldes de Malavella, in Girona province, about a 100 km drive from Barcelona. The location and facilities are great, but we weren't told there are two different kinds of rooms. Some are bright and modern, while others have plain 1960s decor, old furniture, and rusty window frames that need replacing, as shown in the photos. The older rooms cost less, but I don't think they're good value. When we complained, they said their budget for renovations after the 'Pandemic' was low. Keep the room differences in mind when booking.

We stayed over Christmas and were given a room upgrade at no extra charge when we arrived, which was a lovely welcome. The dinner menu was excellent too. It's a beautiful hotel in a great location, and the staff were wonderful. They were very helpful with the language, since we don't speak Spanish. Many thanks and best wishes from Lithuania xxx

The rooms in the left wing are modern and very comfortable. Breakfast is typical Catalan, with omelette cooking right there. It's a great place to relax, with a free outdoor pool at 34C, along with many other paid services.

The outdoor warm pool is the best, and so relaxing. The food was amazing, and I had a very good massage too. A great place to unwind and disconnect.
