The people were kind, and everything was clean. I was passing through on a bike tour and got a room booked by phone in seconds, no trouble. The room itself was spacious and nice. The furniture is a little dated, but that didn't bother me. There's no breakfast, though you can find places to eat about 100m away in a couple of directions. Nothing comes free, I suppose. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

The room was basic but perfectly fine. The TV was awkward to watch from bed, though that's a small thing. I had booked that afternoon and paid online already. At the bar, the young man’s phone rang while I was trying to speak with him, and after that he only gestured and wagged his finger. He seemed annoyed when I showed that I’d paid, then pointed out where I could leave my bicycle overnight. In the morning an older gentleman was at the bar. When I brought the bicycle back from the shed, he asked about payment. I showed him the receipt on my phone again, and he checked online, confirmed it, then shook my hand, which I took as an apology. My front tyre was flat when I got the bike out of the shed. I pumped it up, and 250km later it’s still been fine. Maybe it was just one of those coincidences you hear about. I really don’t know.
