We had the weekend we expected at this rural house, in a very peaceful village. José Ignacio was really good company and took us on an outing around the area on Saturday morning, where we got to see the vultures from the lookout. It was an incredible experience. The house was comfortable and had all the services we needed, so we'd happily come back. Thanks, José Ignacio.
We loved the village, the people who live there, and our visits to La Travesía restaurant, Las Loberas, and the monastery. At La Casa del Venancio, Pocholo was a fantastic host and a great guide. The house had all the amenities our group of 12 needed for a brilliant weekend.
Four adults spent a lovely week here, using the comfortable, well-equipped house as our base. It sleeps fifteen, is reasonably priced, and seems especially well suited to children. The owner, Pocholo (José Ignacio), went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. He's a fantastic person, and I'd highly recommend the place.
Pocholo was an amazing host, the best we've ever met. He took us around the area to see the vultures, wolf dens and a wine press, and even brought us freshly picked saffron milk cap mushrooms. We were two couples with five children and all had a wonderful time in the fantastic house. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. We'll definitely return. Thanks so much for everything.
The village and surrounding area are well worth visiting, and we had an amazing weekend. On Saturday morning, Jose Ignacio took us on a fantastic tour of places of interest and showed us vultures. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, down to every detail. The house had everything we needed, including an attic full of toys and games to keep the children busy. If you're looking for a rural place to stay, we'd definitely recommend it. Thanks for everything!
