Mas Pretel

We had a really nice time at this beautiful, comfortable rural farmhouse. The pool was big and clean, and the owner was so kind, even leaving us a bottle of cava as a gift. We'll be back soon.

We spent a weekend with friends and everything worked out perfectly. The rustic house is a little out of the way, so we could play music late, and the village is only 5 minutes away. Outside there's a huge clean pool, a barbecue and oven, fridges on the terrace and a covered dining space. The kitchen is large and fully equipped.

The setting and exterior are lovely, and the location is great, which makes the state of the house such a shame. It was filthy and badly maintained. We had to replace all the mattress covers and do laundry ourselves because they were stained and disgustingly dirty. On the first night, some of my family, including my 10-year-old son, woke up with bed bug bites on their arms and legs. More of us had bites after the second night. For the cleaning fee, the place should have been in perfect condition. We absolutely can't recommend it.

The house has lots of well-kept rooms and a very large kitchen, with all the appliances working properly. But there were issues. The toilet cisterns kept malfunctioning, so we were constantly being called to get them fixed. We were allowed to play music, but kept being asked to turn it down even though it wasn't too loud. And if you're hoping to sleep in, at 7:00 AM there's a bird bomb sound echoing through the house, like you're being bombed.
