The villa has generous outdoor areas, including a pool, terraces and a barbecue, as well as two well-equipped kitchens, one on each level. There's room for 15 people. However, the lack of cleanliness was obvious at check-in: the floors were dirty, the tables and kitchen counters greasy, and the refrigerators were dirty too. I had paid for an extra cleaning service, but it was only done after I raised the issue repeatedly. The package also included an interim cleaning, which never happened. The official Abahana photos and description don't make it very clear that the three bedrooms on the first level fall short of the expected standard. The bedroom and bathroom have no windows, there's a musty smell, and the rooms look old and lack storage. The only closet can't be used because it smells musty.
