The cockroaches all over the apartment really spoiled my holiday. It also smelled odd, the curtains were dirty, and the sofa had no cover. The place wasn’t very clean, and I was handed the keys very late. Seeing other guests arrive made me wonder whether they’d be left waiting for their keys too. I honestly didn’t enjoy the stay at all.

We paid enough that the many things wrong with the apartment shouldn’t have been acceptable. Most of the old furniture was broken: the curtains came apart when we tried to open them, the extractor didn’t work, the bedside table drawers kept falling out, and the main bedroom had no light. The apartment was spacious and in a good location, but cleanliness was poor. There was a used diaper behind the door when we arrived, and marks or other things stuck to the walls. It seemed they hadn’t even shut the door to sweep.

There’s plenty of room in the house, and the location is great. Some of the furniture is a little dated.

They were really professional, but still made the service feel personal. When something unexpected came up before arrival, they focused on helping the customer instead of making a profit from the situation. I’ll definitely go back to them whenever I’m in Calpe.
